Peoria City Soccer releases 2023 Schedule

2023 PC Schedule PEORIA, IL – After a successful inaugural USL2 season, Peoria City Soccer is gearing up for another year of high-quality soccer in a brand new division.

Peoria City kicks off the season with its first three games at home in Shea Stadium. The team’s home opener is Saturday, May 20th at 7:30 p.m. against St. Charles (Missouri) FC.

The team then plays host to FC Wichita on Friday, May 26th with a 7:30 p.m. kick-off time. Starting the month of June, Peoria City welcomes Chicago City SC to the 309 on the 3rd with a 7:30 p.m. start time as well.

After our 3-game home stretch, Peoria City hits the road for 4 straight games.

The team heads to FC Wichita on Wednesday, June 7th. Next Peoria City heads back to Illinois for a game in the Windy City against the Chicago Dutch Lions FC. That game will be on June 10th.

The following week, Peoria City heads to Missouri to take on St. Charles FC. That match will be played on Wednesday, June 14th. Six days later, the team heads back to Chicago to take on Chicago City SC on Tuesday, June 20th.

Later that week, Peoria City returns home. The squad takes on the Des Moines Menace on Saturday, June 24th with a 7:30 p.m. start time. The following week, Peoria City hosts Chicago Dutch Lions FC for a 7:30 Wednesday night game on the 28th.

It’ll be the battle of 309 vs. 217 as Peoria City heads to Springfield, Illinois for their next match. The boys take on Springfield Athletic FC on Wednesday, July 5th at 7:30 p.m.

Four days later, Peoria City welcomes Springfield Athletic FC to Shea Stadium for a 7:30 p.m. start time on Sunday, July 9th.

The team ends the season on the road, facing the Des Moines Menace on Saturday, July 15th.

For its second season, Peoria City has been placed in the League Two Central Conference Heartland Division with six other franchises:  Des Moines Menace, Chicago City SC, Chicago Dutch Lions FC, FC Wichita, Springfield Athletic SC, and St. Charles FC.

Peoria City will play its home games at Bradley University’s Shea Stadium.

The club will unveil its franchise branding marks, technical staff, team roster, ticket plans and single-game promotions throughout the spring.
