PEORIA, IL ( Jan. 27, 2022) – USL League Two unveiled each team’s full schedule for the 2022 season and Peoria City will play two home games each month – May, June and July – during its inaugural campaign.

In addition to the May 14 opener at home against fellow expansion team Minneapolis City SC, Peoria City twice will play host to defending USL League Two champion Des Moines Menace – Friday, May 27 and Wednesday, June 22. Peoria City’s remaining three home games will be played June 3 versus St. Croix SC, July 1 against FC Manitoba and July 3 versus Thunder Bay Chill.

Peoria City’s home games are scheduled to be played at Bradley University’s Shea Stadium and all six games will kick off at 7 o’clock.

The 12-game regular-season schedule also will include six road games against, all against fellow Deep North Division members, beginning with a 2-games-in-3-days trip to Minneapolis for games May 20 at Minneapolis City and May 22 at St. Croix SC. Peoria City will repeat the 2-games-in-3-days scenario when it ventures across the border for games June 10 at Thunder Bay Chill and June 12 at FC Manitoba. Peoria City will visit Minneapolis City a second time June 25, then will close out the regular-season slate July 16 by visiting Des Moines Menace for its third matchup against the league champion.
