Madrigal tallies two in Friday night’s victory

PEORIA, IL – Who can stop Noah Madrigal? We have yet to find out.

Tallying two goals Friday night, the Peoria Notre Dame grad now has 3 goals in 2 games this season.

In a post-game interview, Madrigal says it feels great to get the first win at home.

“It was a good overall results for everyone,” Madrigal says. “The atmosphere is electric, so to me it’s easy. You just find yourself in the right positions and your teammates give you the ball in the right positions. You just believe in yourself that you can finish the dub.”

Madrigal was proud to play in front of his hometown once again Friday night. He says it’s incredibly special for his little brother to get to see him play.

“I have a really close family. I love showing kids the game, especially him. A lot of his friends come out and watch us play. I just hope to inspire those guys to one day keep playing,” Madrigal says.

Madrigal says the path to victory next week, starts tonight.

“It starts with recovery, getting our bodies right and taking the week day by day. Improving every day, and getting our game plan for the upcoming game,” Madrigal adds.
