Game-Day Experience Expands to Duck's, Crusens - Peoria City Soccer

(MAY 1, 2026 | PEORIA, IL) – The Peoria City game-day experience will both begin and end in West Peoria, thanks to the joint premium partnership with Duck’s on Farmington Road and Crusens.

Peoria City fans are invited to engage with the team during their pregame meal at Duck’s on Farmington Road prior to every home game and the team will return to the lower Bradley Park neighborhood for a postgame party at either Duck’s or Crusens following each game at Shea Stadium. For Saturday’s CEFCU Friendlies Series game versus Northwestern, Peoria City will enjoy its pregame meal at 3:00 pm at Duck’s and then will return to the restaurant after the game to bookend the day. Duck’s will be the postgame destination following all Saturday games, while Crusens on Farmington Road will host the postgame party following weeknight games.

The premium partnership also includes the renaming of Peoria City’s popular pregame tailgating area at Shea Stadium as the Crusens Tailgate Zone, while three lucky fans will be selected to participate in the new Duck’s on Farmington Road Duck Race, a third halftime contest. The partnership also includes the placement of the Duck’s logo on the back of Peoria City’s new black and white Aretyn game jerseys and the Crusens logo on the back of the team’s copper warm-up jersey.

The Crusens Tailgate Zone will open three hours prior to all home games, 3:00 pm Saturday ahead of the 6:00 pm game versus Northwestern. All fans who purchase an entry into the Halftime Tennis Ball Toss will be eligible for selection for both the Smoothie King Smooth Kick of the Game, as well as the Duck’s on Farmington Road Duck Race. Duck Race participants will don an inflatable rubber ducky costume and race from the midfield stripe in front of the press box to the midfield line in front of the main grand stand.

Saturday’s friendly versus the Big Ten Conference opponent will be the first game in Peoria City’s 2026 11-game season-ticket package. Season tickets and single-game tickets both are available for purchase online at PeoriaCitySoccer.com/tickets. Game-day parking in the Crusens Tailgate Zone is $5. Tailgate spaces may be reserved in advance through online purchases until 2:30 pm Saturday and general parking will be sold on site beginning at 3 o’clock.

Tony’s on Wheels will provide food truck dining options in the Crusens Tailgate Zone Saturday and the Discover Peoria Play Zone will open outside the stadium gates at 4:00 pm with game-day haircuts provided by Snyder’s Barbershop and School of Carp Kids Club membership cards and t-shirts available for pick up at the Jeff Burstis State Farm table.

Stadium gates will open at 5:00 pm, when the School of Carp Kids Club members will be invited onto the field to join the Peoria City players for a 20-minute pregame play session. Fans also are invited to join the South Side Steel Drumline near the concessions area on the Shea Stadium concourse 15 minutes prior to every scheduled kickoff time (5:45 pm Saturday) to participate in a new stadium entrance – March of the Carp.
