Joey Olson COUNTRY Financial Again Sponsors Peoria City Ball Chasers
(APRIL 10, 2026 | PEORIA, IL) – For the second consecutive season, Peoria City invites young fans 10 years of age and older to participate in the game operations at Shea Stadium as Joey Olson COUNTRY Financial once again sponsors the ball chasers program.
Parents are invited to visit the “Ball Chasers” link within the About menu at PeoriaCitySoccer.com to sign up their children, ages 10+, for the Joey Olson COUNTRY Financial Ball Chasers program. These are working positions tasked with assisting the Peoria City and opposing players with returning the game ball to action when knocked out of bounds.
When completing the registration form, please select the game(s) the child is available to work during the 2026 Peoria City season. Peoria City staff will identify 6-10 ball chasers to work each game, based on the number of submissions, and then confirm each game’s assignment via email with the registered parent/guardian.
Ball chasers are asked to report to the Joey Olson – COUNTRY Financial table next to the merchandise stand 45 minutes prior to the game’s scheduled start time. Each ball chaser will receive a t-shirt to wear during the game and will be escorted to the field with the group. The ball chasers will have a group photo taken each game and will participate in the “International Walk Out” with the players, before moving to their assigned section of the field for the game.
In addition to complimentary admission for the ball chaser, one parent/guardian for each chaser also will be provided complimentary general admission for the game(s) in which the child is working.
Peoria City is scheduled to play 12 games at Bradley University’s Shea Stadium this spring and summer, beginning with the April 19 Shea Classic (1 pm), a free admission event in a jamboree style format featuring a handful of committed Peoria City players with a number of trialists competing with Bradley, Illinois Central College and players from 2025 NJCAA Division 1 national champion Indian Hills Community College.
