(SEPTEMBER 9, 2025 | PEORIA, IL) – Peoria City Soccer continues to build on its partnership with the area’s premier indoor training facility as Peoria City and The Yard Peoria are collaborating to offer soccer-specific memberships to access The Yard Peoria for the enhanced development of the area’s youth soccer base.
Located at 1503 W. Altorfer Drive in north Peoria, The Yard Peoria offers 60,000 square feet of synthetic-turfed and climate-controlled training space across a multitude of sports, including a dedicated soccer room that features a 60-yards-long, fully-lined soccer field that can be divided into three smaller training spaces.
Soccer memberships for The Yard Peoria are available in 3-month, 6-month and 12-month options for individuals (1 adult + 1 child), families (up to four immediate family members) and personal trainers (for up to 10 athletes per session) and the membership plans offer a collection of benefits applicable to both the indoor training facility and Peoria City.
Individual memberships are $115/month for three months, $95/month for six months or $60/month for 12 months. Family memberships are $130/$115/$95, while trainer memberships are $115/$95/$60, plus $10/session for each student.
Soccer member benefits include exclusive, complimentary access to designated, soccer open-play sessions; complimentary use of the soccer field during open hours when it is not otherwise reserved; the ability to reserve training space when the facility is closed to the public; the opportunity to request training assistance from Peoria City staff and players or coaches recommended by the club (added fees required); the ability to bring guests for $10 per session; discounts for Peoria City camps and clinics; a complimentary Peoria City season ticket; complimentary membership in Peoria City booster or kids clubs (age dependent); and a 10 percent discount on Peoria City merchandise purchased at The Yard Peoria or Peoria City games.
Memberships may be purchased by visiting The Yard Peoria during open hours and become active at the time of purchase. During the school year (mid-August through May), The Yard Peoria is open weekdays from 4-10 pm and weekends from 10:00am-10:00 pm. During the summer months (June through mid-August), the public hours transition to 1-7:00 pm weekdays and 12-7:00 pm on the weekends.
Beginning today and continuing through the first weekend of October, Soccer Member Open Play times will be Monday-Friday, 4:00-6:00 pm; Saturdays 10:00 am-12:00 pm; and Sundays 12:00-2:00 pm. For the District 150 School Improvement Day Wednesday, Sept. 24, the Open Play window will be extended to 1:00-6:00 pm, and this Friday’s window will be shifted to 3-5:00 pm due to a previously scheduled event.
The soccer field at The Yard Peoria is available to rent by any individual or group for $150/hour or $90/half hour. The field may be divided and the smaller sections are available at the following rates: two-thirds for $100/hour and $60/half hour; or one-third for $50/hour or $30/half hour. Trainers working with small groups of up to 10 may rent half of the field for $50/hour or $25/half hour, plus $10 per pupil. Teams and groups of at least 11 will receive discounted pricing by reserving at least five sessions.
