PEORIA, IL (Jan. 25, 2022) – Peoria City will make its official debut Saturday, May 14 on its home field at Bradley University’s Shea Stadium when the club opens the 2022 USL League Two season against fellow expansion franchise Minneapolis City SC.
Peoria City’s complete 2022 schedule will be released by USL League Two Thursday.
For its inaugural season, Peoria City has been placed in the League Two Central Conference Deep North Division with five other franchises: defending league champion Des Moines Menace, FC Manitoba, Minneapolis City SC, St. Croix SC and Thunder Bay Chill.
USL League Two is expected to announce each team’s 2022 schedule Jan. 27. Each team will play a 12-game regular-season schedule split evenly between six home games and six road games.
The club will unveil its franchise branding marks, technical staff, team roster, ticket plans and single-game promotions throughout the winter and spring. Fans are encouraged to follow Peoria City on social media outlets Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for team updates and features.
