Peoria City puts on a clinic, Wins 5-1 over Chicago Dutch Lions

PEORIA, Ill. — Friday Night Lights were in full effect for Peoria City’s home match against Chicago Dutch Lions FC.

Peoria City fans were overjoyed to see Jonas Lyshoj back on the field Friday night. They were even happier when he knocked in the first two goals of the game!

That’d give the Flying Carp a 2-0 lead heading into half-time.

While the first half was great, the second was even better.

Peoria City stayed on the attack, finding the back of the net 3 more times.

Sadly, Chicago scored one goal late in the second half to ruin the shutout, but Peoria City roared to victory over the Dutch Lions 5-1.
