(April 11, 2024 | Peoria, Illinois) – Peoria City, one of the top-performing clubs in USL League Two, and the Central Illinois Soccer Academy (CISA) are proud to announce the formation of a strategic partnership that will allow for a year round presence throughout the central Illinois community.
In addition, three rising stars in the NCAA coaching profession will be joining the Central Illinois Soccer Academy staff in senior leadership and camp curriculum development roles.
“The Central Illinois Soccer Academy has long been synonymous with providing players of all ages and backgrounds, both recreational and competitive, with a variety of engagement platforms that fit varying needs,” said John Dorn, Managing Partner of Peoria City. “The affordability of their camps, free clinics and coaching education, and their philanthropic endeavors throughout the region for decades, is what Peoria City wants to be a part of.”
Since the inception of Peoria City, it has been evident that being part of the fabric of the community needed to be the foundation of the club. The staff assembled between Peoria City and the Central Illinois Soccer Academy are some of the fastest-rising collegiate soccer coaches across central Illinois.
Leaders of this partnership include Tim Regan, Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Bradley University and Director of Coaching and Community Outreach at CISA, Raleigh DeRose-Tallman, Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Illinois State University and Program Coordinator and Girl’s Camp Director at CISA, and Ryan Woodside, Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Eureka College, who in addition to his role as Assistant Coach for Peoria City, serves as the Director of the U-23 Men’s Training Program.
Peoria City and CISA will rely heavily on that experience to provide programming that will benefit soccer players of all ages. We look forward to the future and making more exciting announcements in the weeks and months to come.
