Peoria City Adds Back-to-School Camps

Aug. 2 Camps at The Yard Peoria to Benefit Amos Foundation

(PEORIA, ILLINOIS) — As the summer camp season winds down and children begin returning to school, a special “Back-to-School” session of Peoria City’s Camps at The Yard Peoria has been added to the calendar Saturday, Aug. 2.

Peoria City is excited to announce special “Back-to-School” editions of the School of Carp Camp for Beginners and Individual Skills 3v3/4v4 Camp at The Yard Peoria. The one-day sessions both are set for Saturday, Aug. 2, beginning at 9:00 am, at The Yard Peoria (1503 W. Altorfer Drive) and will be modeled after the popular format of this summer’s School of Carp (ages 5-7) and Individual Skills 3v3/4v4 (ages 7+) Camps.

Directed by Peoria City men’s team head coach Mike Paye, net proceeds from these “Back-to-School” editions of Peoria City Camps at The Yard Peoria will benefit the Amos Foundation, supporting charitable services in Coach Paye’s native Liberia.

The School of Carp Camp for Beginners is priced at $25 for the two-hour session from 9-11:00 am, while the Individual Skills 3v3/4v4 Camp is set at $65 for the five-hour session from 9:00 am-2:00 pm.
