Match Week 4: Away stretch begins, but Watch Parties here at home!

PEORIA, IL — Peoria City looks to get back in the win column in Wichita, Kansas Wednesday night.

In week 2, Peoria defeated Wichita 3-0 at home in dominant fashion. After a Week 3 loss to Chicago City SC, the squad looks to bounce back this week.

Along the way, the boys stopped through Chillicothe, MO (the “home of sliced bread”) and had a great dinner at Blackwater Restaurant & Lounge Tuesday night.

Now, the focus is on Wednesday night, where Peoria aims to get 3 more points and climb in the division standings.

The Bullpen Sports Bar & Grill is hosting an away-game watch party for fans who could not make the 8+ hour trek to Wichita. The game starts at 7 PM and will be streamed on Eleven Sports, the same broadcasting source Peoria City uses for our home games. You can also watch the game at any of our River City Brews partners around central Illinois.

On Saturday, the team plays a much closer-to-home foe in the Chicago Dutch Lions. CDL is winless this season, and we hope to keep that trend going.

The FieldHouse Bar & Grill will be hosting the watch party for that match. It’s Saturday, June 10th at 7 PM.

“Peoria will play home to future stars of American soccer.”
