PEORIA, IL – Peoria City is looking for another win this Saturday after a strong victory over FC Wichita last weekend.
The squad hosts Chicago City SC at Shea Stadium Saturday night at 7:30 PM.
Before we get to match day, we have not one… but two social events this week! Both are open to the public and media.
First is Wednesday night from 7:00-9:00 PM. Players and staff will be at the Bullpen Sports Bar and Grill (inside Landmark Recreation Center) to meet supporters. Merchandise will be on-hand and available for purchase. Bullpen is one of our River City Brews partners this season, and will host an away-game watch party for us on Wednesday, June 7th.
At 3:00 PM Saturday, just ahead of tailgating, we will be at Bearded Owl Brewing to unveil this season’s Peoria City Pilsner. This beer will be sold at our River City Brews partners across central Illinois. We encourage supporters to come celebrate with us at Bearded Owl before heading to Shea Stadium to tailgate, eat at the food trucks, and watch some great soccer!
At Saturday’s match, we will have the Tacos and Thai Food Truck and Sucre Sweets and Socials available for fans to get a pre-game meal. Concessions are also available inside the stadium.
