2025 Peoria City Camps and Clinics
The coaches, staff and players from Peoria City would like to thank all of our 2025 campers for a great summer of camp sessions through the Central Illinois Soccer Academy and our new series of Peoria City Camps at The Yard Peoria. There is nothing more rewarding than the time our club spends interacting with our area’s youth soccer players and we hope we provided some entertaining and memorable sessions while aiding the skill development of all our campers.
But just when you thought the summer camp season had concluded, Peoria City is excited to announce special “Back-to-School” editions of our School of Carp Camp for Beginners and Individual Skills 3v3/4v4 Camp at The Yard Peoria. The one-day sessions both are set for Saturday, Aug. 2 at The Yard Peoria (1503 W. Altorfer Drive) and will be modeled after the popular format of this summer’s School of Carp (ages 5-7) and Individual Skills 3v3/4v4 (ages 7+) Camps.
Directed by Peoria City men’s team head coach Mike Paye, net proceeds from these “Back-to-School” editions of Peoria City Camps at The Yard Peoria will benefit the Amos Foundation, supporting charitable services in Coach Paye’s native Liberia.
BACK-TO-SCHOOL INDIVIDUAL SKILLS CAMP
Boys and Girls – Grades 3-8 (ages 7-14)

Directed by Peoria City men’s team head coach Mike Paye, the Back to School Individual Skills Camp is open to players of all abilities who want to develop their all-around game.
This camp will feature multiple sessions of highly-focused, individual training with each camper receiving maximum touches on the ball. After a short lunch break, players will be divided into teams for 3v3/4v4 games that will feature both directional and non-directional games and activities to provide each player with real match decision-making scenarios, as well as the opportunity to enhance their speed of play and play in a high tempo environment to facilitate movement both with and without the ball. While there will not be specific goalkeeper training during the day, the camp will provide aspiring goalkeepers a maximum amount of work with their feet, which is essential to their development in the modern game.

The School of Carp Camp for Beginners is a fun introduction to soccer for young participants, regardless of previous experience. The School of Carp program will feature soccer-related games and activities and also will incorporate a curriculum of non-soccer related programming to ensure a fun and enjoyable experience for participants.
